Internal – intranet (e.g. Moodle).

The intranet in the Southern Regional College is the moodle website. The advantages of moodle is that you can access the website where ever you are and you can sit and do your work without any problem and then when you are doing one section you can upload it to moodle.  you can also upload images and songs to moodle. Moodle can also hold more than a hundred word documents or powerpoint and other documents like spreadsheets.
The improved effiency of moodle is that you dont have to print it off and then the next day you have that class you wont have to carry it to class it is already up on moodle so then you can access it in class and sent it to your teacher.  You can access it in Portadown,Newry,Armagh at anytime of the day even if you arent in college. You can also access it at home.
For teacher training the teachers can develop new skills by accessing the stuff thats happening at the course like data protection and other issues regarding students.This makes it more efficent because the teachers can go into moodle and mark your work either at home or at college.
